Micah Intermill I Founder + Principal

Hi, I’m Micah

I’ve spent my entire professional career advocating to, learning about, advising, and operating various levels of government.

Since 2005, I’ve enjoyed a wide variety of roles ranging from legislative staff assistant to agency CFO - yet regardless of role the common thread has always been a commitment to testing the boundaries of how doing things differently might yield better outcomes for the public.

I get excited when the work I do helps others in government execute their tasks more easily or effectively - or when it provides the spark that members of community need to see themselves as a part of government and not someone outside of it.

I believe deeply in the power of democracy, republicanism, and individual agency (yes - it turns out I was the kid who was buying everything they were selling in high school civics). And I believe that systems and structures are powerful tools to advance or block our common goals; so more often than not I look there first when starting to assess a path forward.

Outside of work, my wife and I try to keep up with our five year old son. And, I’m a budding woodworker.

This isn’t a typical bio. But you’ll quickly come to learn I’m not a typical guy. If you’re interested in a more detailed professional history, please visit my LinkedIn page here.
